Little World Beverages announced today that it had acquired Lot 2/316-336 Maroondah Highway, in the town of Healesville, Victoria for an undisclosed sum.

The site is adjacent to the Giant Steps/Innocent Bystander Winery & Cellar Door owned by Phil Sexton and located in the heart of the Yarra Valley.

LWB enters consulting agreement with Phil Sexton

Little World Beverages (LWB) has entered into a new 5 year consulting agreement with Phil Sexton, one of the founding partners of Little Creatures Brewing. Phil, who is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading beer industry innovators, was an integral member of the team that helped conceptualise Little Creatures Brewing and specified the direction of its award winning beers.

LWB to distribute Aspall cider in Australia

Little World Beverages announces that it has commenced the distribution of Aspall cider in Australia. The company is pleased with the relationship it has established with Aspall, the oldest direct lineage cider maker in the United Kingdom. Aspall has been producing premium cider in England since 1728 as a family owned and operated business. This product is consistent with the company’s focus on the production and distribution of premium products. The cider market in Australia is in its infancy and our relationship with Aspall will enable the company to explore different opportunities for growth in the sector in the coming years.

Little Creatures secures further tenure on existing premises

Little Creatures Brewing Pty Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Little World Beverages Limited, has reached agreement in principle with Fini Group to obtain an extended right to renew the sub-lease over its premises at 40 Mews Road, Fremantle until 2042. The terms and conditions of the existing sub-lease will apply during the extended period.
